On Thursday night I was part of a ladies night out “private function” (11 ladies) at Michaels with Christina.
They created 12 Christmas cards, 3 each of 4 designs. These were the 2 that I created.
It was definitely a learning curve!
BTW 12 cards in LESS than 2 hours was a little ambitious!
Inspiration was found on Pinterest.
Sadly, I had to make a Thinking of You card for a wonderful co-worker friend of mine that lost a loved one this week.
It’s hard to see on the card but, I also stamped rather peacock feathers than embossed them with white embossing powder and than sponged a bit of neon yellow ink over the feathers so it would resist the ink.
The card is actually much prettier in person. 6×6 card and I made an overside envelope also.
In September I went to a Christmas stamped card class at Michaels instructed by Christina.
It was a basic stamping card class because Christina wasn’t sure how much stamping the other’s had done before.
Although Christina was NOT overally impressed with her cards and she had limited resources because everything used has to be from Michaels…I thought they were cute! AND I have 4 more Christmas cards added to my collection for mailing this year.
I went to a Close To My Heart / Stampin’ Up! workshop in July hosted by Jen Reynard and these were the 3 cards that we made, I also made a 2 page layout but, I haven’t finished it yet!!!
Is this not the cutest thank you gift?!
I found this in my bag when I picked up my last Stamper’s Group order. I think it’s absolutely ADORABLE!
Thank you Terry!
