Halloween festivities at our house have been going on for a while. My daughter had her Halloween Party with her Brownie group on the 22nd, than it was time to decorate at our house, than it was Pumpkin carving with Daddy on Sunday all the while listening to my Son get up ever morning and say [...]
I sat down with my daughter this weekend and helped her alter her first lunch tin from Michael’s. She picked out the paper and the embellishments and decided what to store in it and I helped Mod Podge the paper and adhere the ribbon and embellishments, she was soooo darn excited! She put self - [...]
I altered this magnetic frame that I found at Michael’s for $1.50 on the weekend, it really wasn’t the easiest thing to do for me for some reason, it’s OK, nothing spectacular, I was debating whether or not I should post this on my blog, maybe it’s the picture that doesn’t work in the frame, [...]
I saw a cute, simple card in the current issue of Papercrafts Magazine designed by: Tracy Durcan. So this is what I came up with. “No Peeking” is a wee bit small but I still like how this turned out. I even put some glitter on his touque!
I think this is my very first “no layer” card…is [...]
I have been busy designing Christmas Cards for my Christmas card class coming up in November, this is one of the “nay’s”, I had a heck of a time making the scalloped border with the slit punch, it took me forever, so if it takes me forever that means it will be way longer for [...]
I decided this afternoon to take my son to get a much needed haircut, he has a double crown so when his hair get’s longer it is crazy! The Pokemon ring is what he got for being good.
After we came home and I gave him a bath he wanted to wear a “new” shirt that [...]
Last night was Brownie Enrollment for my daughter and also their Halloween Party, it was “sweet”. The leaders had made this fabulous oven to bake the Brownie’s in, so they would go into it & twirl around & say their “spiel” than they got out & accepted their badges and enrollment, it was absolutely adorable!
Finally after all this time I have finally altered a lunch tin! I like how it turned out and it was nice and quick to do. I store my Cuttlebug stuff in it, I got this idea from Starr.
Lunch tin tutorial can be found here.
This is another thing that my hubby does while I’m out…helps make a ballerina doll with my daughter from a kit that my daughter got last Christmas! He so ROCKS!
Sorry for the bad pic, it’s already getting dark here!
A while back I showed my Halloween Treat Bag prototype, in the end I changed it, I used Stampin’ Up!’s Jumbo wheel…Batty for You, it would have been to painful to just use stamps, this was way quicker and I was able to wheel both sides of the bag. Some of the bags are darker [...]
