Airdrie Festival of Lights…

Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far & that everyone is “enjoying” getting ready for Christmas, we certainly have, we have been busy getting ready for the holidays: decorating inside & out, my daughter & I went to see The Nutcracker, crafting, creating, watching Christmas DVD’s, listening to Christmas Music, Christmas shopping in between here & there, Parent/Teacher Interviews, report cards, volunteering & what would the Christmas Season not be complete without? Being sick…AGAIN! Last weekend was nasty for myself & my kid’s so that put everything I had been working on to a halt but, now I’m back on track & I’ve been busy trying to get my unfinished projects & my to do list complete including some holiday baking in between.

Last night since it was very mild in Airdrie, so mild that it was snowing but, it was very, very wet snow that didn’t stick around we went & took in the sights at the Festival of Lights, we have gone every year for the last 3 or 4 years even when we didn’t live in Airdrie, what a sight & lots of stuff to do for the kid’s. I’m sure we will be going at least once more before December is over.

Well we are off & running shortly, I will be back later with something more “exciting!”
