Birthday cards…

Brendan’s CardFront TaylorInside Taylor

These are birthday cards that my daughter and I made for my Nephew’s 6th birthday on Saturday. My daughter came up with the whole layout of her card on her own…the grass on the front with the bugs in it, than the inside with a pocket to hold the tag, a cardmaker in the works!

My card was cased from Michelle Wooderson, I saw her card on Splitcoast a while back and always loved the colors and it was so much fun, this lady is so darn talented! So I just changed the colors and instead of using Designer Paper on the bottom of the card I just used a circle stamp and stamped circles randomly, I also put my greeting on the top and popped it up with pop dots.

I love these cards! I must ask the bugs one looks to be pretty long and I see you have an envelope behind it. How big is the card and where did you find the odd size envelopes? I am just getting into card making and I find that I love odd sizes better but have trouble finding reasonably priced envelopes LOL
Thanks a bunch for sharing your talent and great ideas!!
