Well I am finally going to post this after waiting almost 3 weeks to make sure the recipients received their gifts, I know 1 of the 4 did for sure, so I’m sure the other ones did too. These are my gifts that I made for the Pay It Forward Blog Candy I did.

These are shadow box frames from the dollar store that I painted with Chocolate Making Memories Acrylic Paint (2-3 coats), than I sprayed the frame with Krylon Acrylic Sealer – Matte finish, this process is what took the longest, the large “F” is a wood letter from Michael’s that is covered with Stampin’ Up!’s Tea Time Designer Paper, I used decoupage to adhere the letter to the wood than I also sprayed the letters with the acrylic sealer – I have no idea if this was at all needed, but, I hope it helps perserve it! Everything after this part came together nicely (sort of), after the first one was completely finished I should say!

There was glass that covers the box, but, I decided not to use as it looked kind of cheapo & I think it looks great with out it…and so did my hubby! It took my probably 6+ hours to make 4 of these. I posted 3 pics of them individually just to show the different rub-ons I used, 2 of them were the same.

I hope the ladies that won this contest love them & find a place in their homes for them. I am quite happy with how they turned out, too bad I didn’t make one for myself!

Thanks everyone for playing along & letting me know what you were up to on NSD.

Blog Candy Time! Yesterday at the NSD event I attended I was lucky to win some stuff, the first is a book called: Digital Designs by Renee Pearson published by Simple Scrapbooks, it looks like a great book with step by step instructions & it includes a CD & I’ve heard it’s a great book & easy to use…the catch? I have absolutely no desire to learn about digital scrapbooking right now…so, I would like to Pay It Forward & offer it up as blog candy to one of my lucky visitors. Now this book is brand new but, for some reason the books arrived with a little bit of damage to them, but, hey, it’s free!

The other prize I will be including are these cute, critter foam stamps.
