Here is my take on this sketch challenge:
A fun challenge…Starburst Pattern, you get to use up your scraps & use some crazy patterned paper together & it still comes together nicely!
I basically just followed Christy’s layout otherwise I would have been lost! Hope that’s OK Christy.

Here is my layout for this week’s challenge:
This is a pic of my Mom & the kid’s taken June 26, I love, love this picture.
My Mom & I definately do not see eye to eye on ALOT of things, I use to think my Mom was the world to me because it was always just me & her & than as I got older & had kid’s I realized the way that I grew up was not a “normal” childhood so I became very angry & bitter, in the last month or so I am trying very hard to put our differences aside & just accept her for who she is so that my kid’s can have a relationship with her because I know how much they love her & that’s what we do for our kid’s. My Mom is turning 60 on August 2nd (she’s getting old!!!) & I don’t want to have any regrets, I want to have peace within my heart.
Another fun sketch, here is the deets!
and here is my card:
I used Flutter Anya from The Greeting Farm found here. Of course I colored her with my Copic’s. I picked up this butterfly patterned paper a while ago & it worked perfectly for this card.
Well I’m off to bed now, I’ve got a busy day ahead of me tomorrow & tomorrow I won’t have internet since I will be disconnected from our place now so that we get get it hooked up in our new house.
I will now be done “creating” for a few days since I have now moved all my scrapbooking stuff to the new house, good thing it’s only about a 7 minute drive away!
Thanks for visiting & have a great Wednesday!
I had to laugh to myself when I was coloring Patience the Pixie from Whimsie Doodles, I deliberately colored her hair red because my daughter has red hair & you don’t see that very often & well she does not have an ounce of patience whatsoever!!!
Whimsie Doodles is having their first sketch challenge, you can find all the deets here.
Here is my card:
only 2 more sleeps till moving day!!!
Oh my…another challenging challenge! Fussy cut a photo??? What the ??? but, I jumped on board & I like what came out of it!
My daughter is a total “poser”, she always loves to have her pic taken, striking a pose at the drop of a time & she is photogenic to boot!

Here is my layout for this week’s challenge:
I chose to keep the layout pretty simple because the paper is so “loud”, I used some bling because heck, what’s a girl without bling!!! I used pink because my daughter is a girly girl & LOVES pink! I used a hobby knife to cut around the rainbow to stick the picture behind it.
My first time participating in these challenges, I liked the sketch & the card came together very quickly. I had limited space on the card because my card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4″ & the cone is a little big!
I used a free digital image from The Digi Shack that I got a while back.
I colored in the cone to look like a “mint chocolate chip cone” my daughter’s favorite ice cream flavor.
Again, I used some yummy paper from Imaginisce called “Summer Cool.”
Here is the link to The Sweet Stop with the challenge deets.
Here is my card:
Due to space I put the greeting on the inside of the card.
Have a super Monday!
I made it just in time for this contest, this card came together really quickly.
I used a free digital image from The Digi Shack, I got the images a while back & I colored them in right away & than they sat in my copic coloring binder for a while than I bought some very cool ice cream cone & sundae paper from Imaginisce called “Summer Cool” back in May, I immediately fell in love with it & knew what I wanted to pair it with, it even has some embossed images on it.
I used some crystal effects on the cherry & the “strawberry ice cream”, a little hard to see & than I popped the image on another colored image & than popped that image up to.
Here is my card:
Here is the link to the contest, you still have most of the day to enter!
Happy Sunday!
When I saw Christy’s challenge for this week it was a little bit out of my “comfort zone” but, I had fun with it & really loved how this layout turned out.
I mean you want me to scratch up my pictures??? Ruin them??? My OCD was kicking in overtime!
I took the the original pic a while back & have always loved this pic of my hubby & our wedding rings together but, I ruined the first pic I took with some kind of paint & I couldn’t find another copy so I had to take another pic, the first pic was much better than this one…oh well!

I just love all the yummy shimmer. I used a sketch from 52 sketches.
The verse says: Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:7-8
It’s been a long, long time since I have participated in a Mojo Monday challenge, I have had Fairy Chloe colored in for a very long time, just sitting there waiting to make her way onto a card.
So here is my card for Mojo Monday Week 93:
I was very productive yesterday!!!
