Stamper’s Club January 2012…

26 Jan

This month’s technique was embossing…old school! Back to the basics.

This card was actually quite cool. We embossed the butterfly using “chips” of embossing powder.

You take embossing powder and pour it onto a baking sheet covered in foil than bake at 350F for about 3 minutes, than take it out of the oven and let it cool a bit than break it into chunks and put it into a bag. When you are ready to emboss something you just apply the pieces randomly on your chipboard and melt with the embossing gun, the bigger chunks of “chips” seem to work better, than when you are done melting you take a stamp and push it onto the chipboard…voila…very cool!

Cute Valentine’s card with some gold flecks in it.

Stamper’s Club October 2011…

29 Oct

The first card was made using watercolor wonder crayons and random stamping.

The second card was actually a technique using bubble solution and re-inkers and blowing the liquid onto your cardstock…you can’t see it very well in my pic, it’s very subtle but, it’s a cool technique.

The third card was just fun! A cool wintery scene. There is a reindeer on the right side but, I embossed with Vanilla instead of White!!!
