A Stamping We Will Go…

I love how this card turned out, this is a close up of the pearl rhinestones that I bought at The Dollar Giant in Calgary (NE location), I bought 21 packs of different pearls & rhinestones, there is 50 to a pack, they are just like the Kaiser ones (thanks Cookie!).

I finally had a chance to use my new Stampin’ Up! stamps that have been sitting on my desk for a while. I love these ones (Thoughts & Prayers & Refuge & Strength). I also used some pretty pink ribbon that I received in the mail with my ticket to this crop.

I used another digital download (Pretty Head Rachel) from The Greeting Farm found here. I’m not so sure that I really “like” how I colored her eyes, I have no idea whatsoever when it comes to coloring eyes, no clue!

I used Stampin’ Up!’s Flower Fusion Too flowers & new chocolate chip corduroy buttons…love, love, LOVE these, they are soooo yummy!

Stamps and Smiles is a brand new company and the previews are looking “yummy” and “cute”!!!

I used a FREE digital download from Two Scoops Rice Designs found here, another new company with some cute images soon to be for sale.

I was able to complete a challenge & use a new image AND make a birthday card for my daughter’s 9th birthday on Sunday – woohoo!

This week’s challenge twist: to use acetate, not bad considering I have been wanting to use Heidi Swapp’s Ghost Shapes for a while now, so that’s what I used!

I decided to use this sketch for my daughter’s 9th birthday party invites, I realized last night after I got home at 9PM that I really needed to have these invites done for this AM so that my daughter could take them to class & hand out as they are off school next week & her birthday party is the following week…yikes, so I stayed up till Midnight to finish them while watching ER & Grey’s, I’m a huge multi tasker!!! but, I am soooo tired this AM!

Of course my daughter is having a Hannah Montana birthday party so I used Hannah Montana stamps from Disney that I bought at Michael’s using a coupon & some Hannah Montana ribbon also bought at Michael’s.

Here is my February Week 2 card: FAITH

I used stamps from Clear Dollar Stamps found here. The word “faith” was a set that I picked up at Michael’s by Scrappy Cat for like $5 on sale. I used the Script Cuttlebug embossing folder on the black circle but, you can’t see it!

I spent a good part of my day today (in between ice skating & going to the library) making these 2 cards I posted today, alot of heart was put into them but, it was fun & I “think” I might just be starting to understand how to use my Copics! I have another class this Friday so I’m looking forward to it.

It’s so hard sometimes to see how amazing a card is online – these 2 cards really are the best that I have done to date (in my opinion). These cards make me sooo happy, I’m going to leave them on my desk for a while & just stare at them!!!
