Christmas House Decor…
I have been making simple, fun center pieces for the house:
I bought these cute name card holders at Michael’s (2 for $1.50), they come in a bunch of different colors that is if you can find them! I used SU’s Brushed Silver Cardstock & Pixie Pink, my Nestabilities & a shimmer brad from the Dollar Store, the colors are a little off in this pic. I made 15 of these in total & we have ours on our dinner table – the kid’s think they are pretty cool!
I bought these Christmas balls at Superstore, $7.99 for ALOT, I still have some leftover. I just love the color of these.
I bought these pine cones at Superstore, $4.99 for 5. I filled up a vase with beaded mini Christmas balls & cranberries, also, bought from Superstore.
I found this metal snowman tin at my local Dollar Store for $6 & fell in love with it, purchased 2 smaller Pointsettia plants from Superstore & some twigs with a bronze glitter on them & cut them up & stuck in the plants.
I bought these cute & fun bowls from Superstore for $2.99 each & filled them up with Almond Rocha & Swiss Mini Chocolates from Costco, yes, I shop at Superstore ALOT!!!
The kid’s decorated their Gingerbread House on Sunday, this is something the kid’s do every year, this is our 4th year, we bought our house from Costco for $9.99, icing is already pre-made & you get ALOT of candy as you can see from the pic!
I bought this sign at The Dollar Store for $6, it had some white wire to hang it, but, my hubby pulled it off (I thought it looked better without it) & than we hung it above our closet door in the front entryway. I love all the glitter on it!
I bought this at The Dollar Store for $6 also, a popular price I guess! It’s so cute, I hung it in my kitchen & than put the kid’s Xmas picture on it.
These are larger Christmas Ornaments that we have tied with clear fishing line & we hung them above our french doors by our living room, we lined them up 3 in a row & staggered the height. They are about $3.97 each from Wal-mart.
So you can definately decorate your house for Christmas on a budget…it’s beginning to look a little like Christmas in my house, I love it, it looks so much better in person than thru pictures!
