I have been seeing different calendar’s around lately…one’s made with coasters and than I came across this one using a CD Jewel Case, which we have lots of! I really liked this one found here. I struggled with how I was going to adhere the calendar, alot of people have been using brads, found here thru the actual calendar, well, I just don’t get it…how do you get the pages off? I tried fooling around with it, pulling the pages off & they ripped so I just put some small sticky glue dots on the back of December & used Stampin’ Up!’s mini library clips to hold the other ones on & than I can just remove each page as the month’s tick on by! I was thinking of using Basic Grey’s magnetic buttons but the small ones just don’t have enough ooomph to go thru all the paper, etc. This is Stampin’ Up!’s new set called “Embrace Life”, love it, love, love it & the matching paper is to die for too!

That is just beautiful and the way you attached the calendar is cool! I use those self adhesive calendars from Vippies.com but being able to print your own when you need them is even better. I also love those flowers and the glitter in the centers is just wonderful.

This is so pretty! I love these calendars and haven’t gotten around to making mine yet, but I had the same question you did about the pages coming off with brads. The library clip is a wonderful idea.

Michelle I just had an idea about the pages. What if you left a little extra room at the top (For attaching with brads) And score down a little on each page so that it would rip off easier when that month was finished.

The best thing to do I THINK is add a little bit of rubber cement glue on the top edge and paper clip the sides until it dries and then when you are done with a month all you do is tear it off and it comes off clean from the top…sorta like a post it note…
