I have had one heck of a productive weekend in between a workshop, getting my daughter off for a weekend of camping with Brownie’s and moving my Mom. I managed to get a layout done and finally add pictures to all the 12×12 and 6×6 layouts I had completed but didn’t have pictures on them yet, I found this to be quite challenging as I usually work with the pictures and design the layout around them, I don’t know how people do this? How do you scrapbook? Layout first or pics first?
The 12×12 layouts were all part of a Calendar Club that I participated in 2005 / 2006 at Scrapbooker’s Paradise. I received everything to make a 12×12 page for $4 or $5 per month and I used it for my scrapbooking.

Hi – I like your blog and your layout! I too, scrap first with pictures and not the other way around. But once in a while, it’s fun to just pop photos in to a book when you’re pressed for time.

I often buy papers/products that I love, then scrap my favorite photos (printed in b&w) with them. If you use black and white photos the possibilities are endless!! I do love to use a lot of photos on a layout, though, so I sometimes print a bunch in wallet size so I can fit more on.
