My Little Spark becomes a Brownie…

BrownieGetting Pinned

Where does the time go?

Last night was my daughter’s Advancement Ceremony. She is advancing to Brownie’s in September. She has spent 2 years with Sparks and I feel that it’s been a wonderful, worthwhile adventure for her, her unit is very active…camping 4-5 times a year, they are active in our community singing to Seniors at Christmas, cleaning up the neighborhood, going on fieldtrips and learning lots of stuff! It seems like yesterday I was sending her off to her first camp at the tender age of 5 1/2! Now she is a seasoned camper. She has definately learned alot from being in Sparks and has earned many badges, she has 2 sash’s full of badges and pins.

At the Advancement Ceremony they had all the girls that were advancing in Sparks, Brownies, Pathfinders and Guides, it was quite interesting, they sang camp songs! and had cake and beverages afterwards.

This is my daughter with her wonderful leaders Marquis and Jewel.
