This is a kit from Monday Night Class that I purchased a while ago, 2 years or longer probably because I used a note that my son got from his Grade 1 teacher! It worked perfectly. I left the 2nd page as is because it looks good and I wanted the note to be the focal point.
Ouch!!!
This layout out is about our Dear Otto who swallowed a sewing needle last November and thankfully survived!!!
I have some hidden journalling on a tag behind the 1st pic and I put all his important documents in an envelope and taped on the back of the first page.
I used a sketch from the Top 10 Creating Keepsakes magazine.
Image is Everything…
My sweet boy just turned 8 and well he is quite the fashionista unlike my daughter! My daughter couldn’t care less about what she wears but, my son is very particular in the clothes that he puts on his body now!
So I fussy cut this cute picture of him and added some labels he likes…this is a 6×12 page that I made for my Project Life album.
I love this layout so I thought I’d show you what I’m putting into my Project Life!
Just Be You layout…
Another fun layout from Savvy n Sassy designed by Rhea.
First time I used the chalkboard mist by Tattered Angels…love it!!!
For You layout…
This layout is a kit from Savvy n Sassy designed by Rhea.
I love Rhea’s style…lots of layers…warm colors and all sorts of product used that I wouldn’t necessarily use!!!
Sorry for the poor picture…taken with my iphone in the page protector…boo!!!
You Are My Joy layout…
This layout was a class at Scrapbook Your Heart this year designed by Diana Kennedy.
I didn’t do the class but, when Diana posted on her blog that she had some kits left I bought one! I love this layout…so much fun!
Home…
This layout is something that I had thought about 3 years ago when we bought our 2nd house.
This layout is of all the places that we have lived in since we moved to Alberta in 1997.
8 houses in 11 years!!!
The very first home we lived in was my husband’s sister & brother-in-laws house, they kindly let Billy stay in their home when he came to Alberta in July of 1997 and than me on Halloween 1997 until we were able to move into our first home together.
I labelled each picture with a number and than made a tag and hid it behind the first group of pictures on the first page of the layout and did a little bit of journalling about each home.
Some of the pictures we downloaded from Google Earth so they are a bit fuzzy but, they still look good!
I used a sketch from Becky Higgins Creative Sketches book.
I loved how it all came together.
Card Buffet #2…
Christmas cards at Terry’s Card Buffet this weekend!!! Awesome!
I don’t usually do “cute” cards but, I picked this Elf Shoes card & made 4 of them…I think it’s pretty SWEET!!! and of course everyone knows I love snowflakes!
Card Buffet #1…
I made these cards at a Card Buffet hosted by Terry Montgomery of Terryfic Cards.
I actually “met” Terry at Airdrie Fest 2010 but, at the time I was still a Stampin’ Up! demo myself…so this year at Airdrie Fest when I stopped by her booth I decided since I’m not a demo any more that I would sign up for some classes and also, her Stamper’s Club…a good way to keep me stamping!
So I have now been to 2 of her Card Buffet’s which I LOVE and our Stamper’s Group starts up in a couple of weeks.
These cards are from the first buffet I went to, I picked these ones to make.
8 cards for $15 and she has lots to choose from.
**(All cards are designed by Terry)**
A Time for Everything layout…
This was a kit that we received when I was at Scrapbook Your Heart in May of 2010!!!
The layout is designed by Michelle Zemlak.
This time it worked out perfectly that I waited so long to complete the layout because I think the picture that I used fits the layout perfectly (pic taken while camping in BC this Summer).
