**SHOCK Scrapbook Layouts**
As I mentioned a couple of days ago I went to an all day crop on Saturday. I took a bunch of Monday Night Class Kits (OK, 12 of them – that’s almost a year’s worth of collection!!!) and I decided that I should be able to get ALL of them done – ya right!!! I managed to get 4 of them done and 1 other kit, and I wasn’t even wasting time or chatting, OK, maybe chatting but, I was being productive at the same time!
I’m sure you have heard before how much I love Monday Night Class, they have great kit’s, release on the 1st of every month, local, right here in Calgary, great prices for all the product you get, I always have lots of product left over after doing my kit and a great bunch of gals!
So here they are:
The pics in these spreads are not the greatest that’s for sure, when I was looking thru my pics I came across these and thought hey, they need to be scrapbooked, 2 of the layouts are of pics that were taken just at the “spur of the moment” so they are funny!, my hair is crazy, my son has marker on his lips, we have goofy smiles on our faces but, we must remember that we can’t always scrapbook all the “pretty” pics in our lives – we have to remember to capture the everyday moments – that’s what counts.
This is a kit I won as a door prize at the crop, it took me maybe 10 mins to do.
I also won this for a door prize:
Isn’t it great? I thought so too, it goes perfectly with my giant owl rub-on in the background! Look at all that shimmer.
I still have one more to do, it’s all done but, I have to “take some pics for it!!!
Sorry for the “poor” pics but, it’s damn hard to take pics of a 12×12 2-page layout! maybe if I had a better lens! also, the sun was just pooring thru my window at the same time, which is a good thing but, if I had waited maybe 5-10 mins longer to take the pics it wouldn’t have been an issue!
Cute story: my 5 year old son last night decided that he was going to pull out “his” scrapbook album that I’m slowly working thru and actually remove the pics off of my completed spreads so that he could make his very own scrapbook – I’m like “no, no” you can’t do that, I sat him on my lap as he was crying and explained to him how scrapbooking “works!” he said but, Mommy I want to make a book like yours (awwww), so I found a 6×6 album I had lying around and helped him do 2 pages in his very own book.
