My SIL turns 40 today, so I was one of the “planners” in throwing her a surprise party last night, it went really well, lots of fun & I think she was really surprised. I love it when a plan comes together!
All the cards I have been making lately were divided up between 2 people…my SIL being 1 of them.
On our way to my SIL’s we saw all these buses parked at Spruce Meadows, I’m assuming that’s where they park them during the weekend, any who we thought it was really cool.
“The Bear Cake”, this thing is absolutely monstrous! When my hubby & his brother & sister were growing up this is 1 of the many cakes that were made for them at their birthday’s. So since it was my SIL’s 40th her hubby thought it would be funny to have this cake. It was a hit…if you like coconut!
My daughter waiting patiently for some birthday bear cake.
This is the layout that my daughter made for my SIL to give to her for her birthday, she did it herself with a little “guidance.” We think she liked it!

Taylor did a great job on that layout! So, you’ve got another scrapbooker at your house
TJ is bigtime into it, and it’s so fun to share that hobby together.
That cake looks delish!!
