Snow Burst…

Snow Burst

Well for me it’s time to start “thinking” about Christmas Cards, I like how this card turned out even though I had to use my 5/8″ Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, OK, I’m a hoarder! I realized at this very moment that Stampin’ Up! “brightly” came up with a wonderful idea…to retire the 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon which really ticked me off! The brad was a silver brad but I took the lazy way out and colored it with a brown Sharpie marker, I could have done the whole dip in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and than emboss with crystal clear embossing powder but that would be way to much work!

I “borrowed” this lovely stamper’s idea:

Sorry the colors kind of suck in this picture, cloudy, rainy day here in Calgary and for the life of me I can’t take a pic of something without a flash and have it not be blurry! So as usual my card looks much better in person!

I also really like this card – it is really nice and the colors are great. Maybe its time for me to start thinking about Christmas too!! Ahhhh – I’m such a procrastinator – I’ll probably end up waiting a few months despite my best intentions.
