A couple of fun cards made at my monthly stamper’s group.
I really loved the lattice fold card.
Went to Stamper’s Group on Wednesday, it was nice to get back into creating mode.
Our first project was re-creating the cover of the mini catalogue.
BTW I love ALOT of the products in the mini BUT, not any of the stamps!
The 2nd project was a Valentine’s card that fits into a letter size envelope.
The “To You From Me” part flips down to say “I Love You!”
Wednesday night was our last Stamper’s Group for 2012.
We created 2 fun Christmas projects.
All cards created by Terry Montgomery.
Stamper’s Group started up again last night…yeah!
Always so much fun and I love getting away for a few hours to make some fun projects.
Coffee cup box. Cute. You could stuff the decorated cup with a cello bag with treats, tea or a gift card.
Pyramid Christmas card…I absolutely LOVE, LOVE this card but, it was SOOOOOO much work!!! even having all the pieces cut already!
The hostess for last night made each one of us these cards instead of bring snacks to eat…which I love…he’s sooo cute!
Last night was my last Stamper’s Group for the year…I can’t wait till October rolls around again!
First we made this AWESOME Honeycomb card…I have been eyeing these FOREVER…so easy to make just time consumming!
Than we made this cute little box…I think a gift card should be able to fit in it…I haven’t tried yet!
I really had a great time…something to look forward to each month…anyone want to join me in October (Airdrie)?
Last night was my montly Stamper’s Group and I was the hostess…I earned $40 in FREE stuff!!! Yeah!
These are the projects we made:
Gorgeous Post It Note Holder using new stamps and paper from the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue. The Post It Notes inside are 4×6.
We used the Baby Wipe Technique to stamp the flower.
Very cute window card using new stamps and paper.
I love this little lunch bag holder that was very easy to make.
AND LOOK…the Post It Note Holder fits nicely inside the pocket…awesome teacher gifts!
We have a teacher in our Stamper’s Group (actually she teaches Grade 2 at Jaiden’s school) and we all asked her if teacher’s would like this as a gift…she said YES because it’s consummable and you can re-load more Post It Notes inside when done and of course it’s CUTE!!!
I had Stamper’s Group 2 weeks ago.
We made 3 cards, 2 of which were Mother’s Day cards…BONUS!!!
The first one isn’t my fav…it didn’t quite sit well with me!
The bottom of the stem on the flower we had put another little flower popped up but, I took it off and decided to stamp a verse on it.
I love the next 2 especially the last one…so simple, all white…classic, loved embossing the rose on vellum and than cutting out layers to make it 3 dimensional.
This month’s technique was embossing…old school! Back to the basics.
This card was actually quite cool. We embossed the butterfly using “chips” of embossing powder.
You take embossing powder and pour it onto a baking sheet covered in foil than bake at 350F for about 3 minutes, than take it out of the oven and let it cool a bit than break it into chunks and put it into a bag. When you are ready to emboss something you just apply the pieces randomly on your chipboard and melt with the embossing gun, the bigger chunks of “chips” seem to work better, than when you are done melting you take a stamp and push it onto the chipboard…voila…very cool!
Cute Valentine’s card with some gold flecks in it.
