This is a bird we saw in our front yard earlier this week, I have no idea what kind of bird it is, it is probably just a plain ol’ bird with a yellow head!…it was also hard to get a good pic as the darn bird kept hopping all over the yard! Billy said he has seen it before here but I haven’t.
Stay tuned…I have been making up cards like crazy but I will have to wait till later this weekend to post as hubby has the camera.
Hmmm… it almost looks like a Yellow-headed Blackbird, but it’s hard to tell. Sure looks cool, though!
Bobbi-Jo is correct in her assumption - it also appears to be a female as the tail is quite long. The males are a little fatter and rounder. These are a variety of the Sparrow.
